Living in Southern California meant that the beach was never too far away, and Santa Monica was always one of our favorite places to spend the day. On this particular visit, we headed to the coast to enjoy the ocean views, walk along the pier, and simply relax by the water.
The weather was a little cloudy, but that didn’t take away from the beauty of the shoreline. The Santa Monica Pier stood out against the gray sky, while the sound of the waves and the cool ocean breeze made for a relaxing afternoon.
Sometimes the best days are the simple ones—no big plans, no special occasion, just spending time together and enjoying a beautiful California afternoon by the beach.
