These photos were taken during the Gallup Parade in 2016, one of the most colorful and memorable events I attended during my travels in New Mexico. I was immediately drawn to the artistry on display, especially the vibrant feathers and the intricate designs that made the outfit so visually impressive. It was impossible not to stop and admire the amount of craftsmanship that went into every piece.
The energy of the parade was impossible to miss. Everywhere I looked there were vibrant colors, detailed regalia, and participants proudly representing their traditions. I found myself drawn to the movement of the feathers and the intricate craftsmanship on display, making this one of my favorite events to photograph during our time in New Mexico.
