Windowsill Greens

These photos were taken at home while I was experimenting with natural light and everyday subjects. What caught my attention wasn’t anything dramatic—it was simply the way the sunlight filtered through the window and illuminated the leaves. The soft light, gentle shadows, and fresh green tones created a calm scene that felt worth capturing.

I’ve always enjoyed finding beauty in ordinary things, and houseplants are one of those subjects that can be surprisingly interesting through a camera lens. The curves of the stems, the texture of the leaves, and the changing light throughout the day can transform a simple potted plant into something visually appealing. These images remind me that creativity doesn’t always require a special destination; sometimes it’s waiting right by the window.
