This miniature diorama is inspired by the beauty and tranquility of the Mekong Delta. The scene captures a small riverside village surrounded by lush greenery, winding waterways, and traditional thatched-roof huts nestled along the riverbanks.
Tiny boats drift along the water while villagers go about their daily lives, creating a peaceful snapshot of life in one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic regions. The landscape is filled with rich vegetation, reflecting the fertile environment that makes the Mekong Delta known as the “Rice Bowl” of the region.

One of my favorite aspects of this piece is the sense of calm it evokes. The flowing river, quiet village, and natural surroundings create a scene that feels both timeless and inviting. Every corner of the diorama offers a different view, drawing the eye through the waterways and into the heart of the miniature community.

This project celebrates the simple beauty of riverside life and the close connection between people and nature. Though small in scale, the diorama captures the charm, character, and peaceful atmosphere of a thriving village along the Mekong Delta.
