These photographs were taken during the spring of 2011 in Corona, California, when wildflowers and garden blooms seemed to be everywhere I looked. As I sorted through my collection, I realized how often I was drawn to shades of purple—from tiny clustered blossoms to delicate petals glowing in the sunlight. Each flower was different, yet together they created a beautiful palette of color that defined the season.
This collection showcases a variety of blooms. Some immediately draw attention with their vibrant colors, while others reveal their beauty only when viewed up close. Photographing these flowers encouraged me to slow down, pay attention to the details, and appreciate the simple beauty that spring brings each year.
