During one of our trips through New Mexico, we spent some time exploring downtown Santa Fe and visiting the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. Its beautiful architecture immediately caught my attention, and I found myself stopping to admire the details of the historic building.
Standing in front of the cathedral, it was easy to appreciate the craftsmanship and history reflected in its stone walls, towers, and stained-glass windows. The contrast between the warm sandstone and the bright New Mexico sky made it a beautiful subject for photography.
As we walked around the area, I took a few photos from different angles, trying to capture both the grandeur of the cathedral and the character of Santa Fe itself. The city has a unique charm, blending history, culture, and art in a way that makes every visit memorable.
Looking back at these photographs reminds me of a relaxing day spent exploring one of New Mexico’s most iconic landmarks. Sometimes it’s the quiet moments and unexpected stops along the way that become some of the best travel memories.
